From the moment the slopes open (around early December) until they shut up shop in the spring, most families will be spending a good portion of their weekends on the slopes.  One of the joys of living in Zug is the proximity to a range of ski slopes, with options for beginners and more seasoned skiers.   Here is a range of local ski schools to get you (and the kids) started...

45 minutes from Zug, Brunni has two ski areas - Bruni Alpthal and Brunni Engelberg.  Brunni Alpthal prides itself on its children's facilities including tobogganing and a magic carpet.  There are two ski schools which operate from Brunni Alpthal - Einsiedeln and Rapperswil-Jona - linked to below, as well as private instructors.
